Let the Season Tell the Story
One of the biggest ideas Hannah shares is that flowers don’t need to be forced to bloom on our schedule.
Instead of importing flowers from around the world, Rowan & Larch focuses on what is naturally growing in Montana. That means every wedding reflects the season it’s happening in.
There’s something special about knowing those flowers were growing just miles away and happened to reach their peak at exactly the right moment.
A Wedding Should Feel Like You

Hannah believes flowers should complement a couple’s personality rather than chase whatever trend is popular. The most memorable weddings aren’t the ones that look identical. They’re the ones that feel authentic to the people getting married.
Building a Business Around Your Life
Success doesn’t always mean growing as large as possible.
For Hannah, success means designing a business that allows her to continue being present for her family while still pursuing creative work she loves.
We talk about the realities of seasonal businesses, planning financially for slower months, and finding a rhythm that works instead of constantly chasing more.
Creativity Doesn’t Stop When You Become a Parent
One part of the conversation that really stood out was Hannah’s perspective on identity.
She loves being a mom, but she also recognizes the importance of continuing to create.

She also shared one of my favorite ideas from the entire conversation: flowers are the most serendipitous guests at a wedding. They bloom at exactly the right time, appear for a brief moment, and then they’re gone. That perspective completely changed the way I’ll look at wedding flowers.
